Chemosvit Fibrochem s.r.o. is part of the strong holding company Chemosvit s.r.o. where polypropylene products for different applications represent the core business. The Company is located below the High Tatras, in the Slovak Republic. Traditional yarns production started in 1934. First viscose and later polyamide fibres were replaced in 1974 by polypropylene fine yarns under the name PROLEN®.

During its history of more than forty years, PROLEN® became a worldwide well known brand. Own technological and production know-how and advanced managerial procedures are a guarantee of long-term stability for every customer. Chemosvit Fibrochem s.r.o. is today the strongest and the most experienced producer oF multifilament polypropylene fine deniers yarns in Europe.

The product range of the company includes:

polypropylene textile and technical multifilament yarn PROLEN®, mass-dyed (flat textile, flat technical, textured high elastic, textured low elastic, air textured)
special polypropylene yarn (microfibres, hollow fibres, profiled fibres, UV stabilized, antibacterially modified, softer touch, flame retardant yarn and yarn with improved moisture management)
colour masterbatches (over 300 colours)

Since 1996 Chemosvit Fibrochem s.r.o. is ISO 9001 certified and since 2011 we are ISO 14001 certified. In 2006 we received Oekotex Standard 100 certification in product class I for PROLEN® According to this certificate PROLEN® meets the human-ecological requirements of this standard established for baby articles.
